The Defense Entrepreneurs Forum (DEF) Denver Agora exists to bring military and civilian innovators together, connecting and empowering leaders by creating a culture of innovation in the defense community. The mission of DEF is “Inspire – Connect – Empower” and involves not only monthly gatherings around the world, but periodic DEFx events, an annual conference, and ongoing collaboration via Slack, Facebook and LinkedIn. Drink & Think events are a foundational way of connecting the defense innovation community. Other Agora offerings include TED talk-style presentation followed by Q&A and networking.
This event will start with an overview of DEF, followed by words from our guest speaker, Valerie Rivera, then ample time for Q&A and networking.
Valerie Rivera is the CEO/founder of Take Back Work, a workplace culture consultancy that incorporates best practices in organizational behavior, design thinking, and coaching for change that sticks, and partners with clients to develop practical strategies tailored to their needs. She is a speaker, writer, and thought leader who specializes in growing cultures of innovation within the military and government. Prior to earning her MBA at Stanford, she served in the United States Air Force and currently serves in the Air Force Reserve.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions? Feel free to message DEF any questions you may have on Facebook in advance, or shoot us an email.
